Blue Jay Update PBIS PBIS: What is it? PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. PBIS is the system that the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has endorsed to address behavior as part of the Wisconsin RTI framework. The Johnson Creek HS/MS will be implementing their own PBIS program (The Blue Jay Way) during the 2014-15 school year. Currently we have a PBIS team that is setting the program up to be implemented next year. More information will be provided in the next couple of months concerning the program and what it is going to entail. Track recently competed at the Nelson Daniel Invitational at UW-Whitewater Caitlin Purpi placed 7th in the high jump while Jonah Hood placed 8th in sprints. Softball began practice on March 17th and has had its first handful of games rescheduled due to field conditions throughout our part of the state. An updated schedule can be found on the softball page on the district web page. Baseball began practice on March 24th and has their first game on April 3rd at Lake Mills.
