heat recovery system offers added flexibility
of simultaneous heating and cooling from one
refrigerant pipe network. This means that the
460 volt ECOi system can provide heating and/
or cooling to different zones in the same building
at the same time. The new units also manage
to achieve the industry’s top of the line energy
saving performance.
As VRF continues to gain mass appeal in the
U.S. there will be a push for larger systems,
which is why Panasonic is expanding its
systems to 10 and 12 tons. With its larger
sizes, Panasonic is able to provide system
combinations of up to 24 tons with just two
units and offer triple chassis combinations up
to 30 tons. With the increased combinations,
Panasonic’s ECOi is able to serve larger open
areas with superior comfort and control.
The latest installment in the ECOi series was
also designed with the U.S. market in mind,
ensuring optimal performance in a wide range of
commercial settings.
The new ECOi EX series now includes
Panasonic’s breakthrough ECONAVI (Human
Detection Technology). Through the detection of
human activity, the ECONAVI smart technology
will automatically regulate the temperature
setting for optimal operation. It is able to sense
human location, movements, and absence.
It then automatically adjusts cooling power
to save energy efficiently with uninterrupted
comfort and convenience.
New high-spec wired remote control ensures
individual zone temperature control, allowing
each room to be adjusted for personalized
comfort. With multiple settings, the controller
offers more energy savings.
A handful of essential technologies makes
energy saving possible with Panasonic’s new
ECOi™. For more information about Panasonic
