RECRUITMENT guidelines
RECRUITMENT GUIDELINES
Rules regarding the relationship of Potential New Members and sisters
1. All PNMs are expected to aWend all scheduled events. If a mandatory event is skipped, you
will no longer be allowed to par*cipate in recruitment weekend.
2. If you have a valid excuse to miss a scheduled event (sports, family event, etc.), please
email the Fraternity and Sorority Life Advisor, Mary Anna Hanicak, at [email protected] with
your excuse and the date(s) you will be missing. Your excuse must be approved by Morgan in
order to miss a scheduled recruitment event.
3. All sorori*es and their members should be treated equally throughout the weekend.
Please do not disrespect any sorori*es or their members. You may be required to aWend an
event for a sorority you do not see yourself being a part of- you s*ll should remain respecqul
to that chapter and its members.
4. Please give your full aWen*on to each chapter you visit throughout recruitment; All
personal items must be leI in the hallway before entering a chapter’s room and will be
watched by your Recruitment Counselors for safety. Cellphones especially should not be taken
into rooms or used during events.
5. There is no contact with any sorority
women regarding any sort of recruitment
maWers prior to recruitment weekend, even
if you know them personally. This means
face-to-face communica*on, tex*ng/calling
communica*on, social media
communica*on, etc. cannot be used to
discuss recruitment maWers. All other
maWers that do not have to do with
recruitment can be discussed with sorority
women when appropriate.
