Sønderskov Skolen means “School located on the
southern woods”
-It is an elementary school and high-school.
-The Danish Ministry of Educations establishes the curriculum,
but the budget depends on the municipality.
-Usually primary school beginns when students are 7 years old.
If a child has problems or difficulties, then he repeats the 1st
grade. After the 1st grade no more grade repetitions take place.
