There are 4 schools in Denmark implementing
LEAPS
Sønderskov Skolen and LEAPS
It all started in 2015 when a group of
pharmaceutical and chemistry firms (Novo Nordisk
Foundation) in the area decided to invest money on
the scientific competences of local students.
They together with Søndenborg’s Municipality and
all the schools in the city decided to implement
measures to improve science skills.
In Sønderskov Skolen, they decided to implement
LEAPS.
LEAPs is based on PBL and gets inspiration in High
Tech High Schools in San Diego (California).
