Elluminate use the Whiteboard to house shared documents or files. As a designer,
create slides that can be “worked” by the facilitator or learner.
–
Be creative. Brainstorming sessions, idea generation, Ice Breaker doodle-session, or
simply use this as a flipchart.
–
While sharing a document, presentation, or whiteboard, you can annotate, save, copy,
paste, and print any pages or slides. You can also use a pointer to emphasize text or
graphic. Put all of these capabilities into your design. Do not leave it up to a facilitator.

Sharing an application allows training session attendees all the actions that you take
with an application, without the need to run the application on their computers.
Attendees can also view any animation effects in a shared application. Application
sharing is useful if you want to demonstrate software, edit documents, train attendees
in using an application, and so on.
–
In your design, do NOT application share in lieu of document sharing. It may be more
glitzy, but the system will more than likely drag and could take learners away from
you point.
–
While sharing an application, you can allow an attendee to control it remotely. For
example, if you share a Word document, you can allow an attendee to edit the
document on your computer, real time.
–
Design application share when the application needs to be demonstrated, taught or
mastered.
