PC Kick‐Off Meeting #1 (April 2, 2015). The project kick‐off meeting
was held with the PC to outline the JLUS process and goals, educate all
stakeholders about the JLUS and their roles and responsibilities in the
Seymour Johnson AFB JLUS. Additional topics that were discussed
included a discussion of the study and review of issues identified,
identification of roles and responsibilities of participants, refinement of
the project timeline, and identification of any additional issues. The
preliminary study area was also defined and reviewed in conjunction
with an overview of compatibility factors and discussion of potential
compatibility issues.
TACs Meeting #2 (November 10 & 12, 2015). The second meeting
conducted with the TACs included a review of potential data gaps,
review issues identified to date, and present draft findings. Additional
issues were added and summarized along with general notes on issues,
goals, and concerns identified to date. One TAC meeting was held in
Goldsboro on November 10th, focusing on Seymour Johnson AFB and
the other TAC meeting was held in Columbia on November 12th,
focusing on DCR.

TACs Engagement (November / December 2016). Coordination with
the TACs was conducted electronically over the course of two months
to review the Committee Review Draft JLUS, review the compatibility
issues as they apply to each jurisdiction and to garner input on
potential strategies.
One‐On‐One Jurisdiction Meetings (January 2016). This series of
meetings was conducted with PC members and / or elected officials
within each of the JLUS Study Area jurisdictions and with Seymour
Johnson AFB to review the recommended resolution strategies and
compatibility planning tools, and revisions for the Public Draft JLUS.
PC Meeting #4 (May 2017). This meeting was conducted as a
conference call with the PC reviewing the feedback from the public
review period. This meeting presented the findings and the Final JLUS
Report to the committee members. The presentation of the Final JLUS
Report discussed the changes and revisions to the report that were
incorporated based on comments received.
