JENNIFER SELCO
Director of Jewish Life and Learning
J ennifer is excited to be back in the pacific
southwest! After growing up in the Los
Angeles area, and earning a Bachelor of Arts
in Jewish Studies from UCLA and a Masters
of Arts in Education and Masters in Business
Administration from American Jewish University, she moved to
Tulsa, Oklahoma, mostly to escape LA traffic.
During her six years in Tulsa, in addition to finding the best
breakfast places in town, Jennifer served as Director of Education
and Programming at Temple Israel. Jennifer finds great meaning in
working with learners of all ages, and building community around
experiential Jewish moments.
She enjoys running, playing mahjongg, cooking, reading, traveling,
and spending time with her family. She and her husband Jeff have
two young daughters, Rena Maytal and Adina Galit, and two dogs,
Lucy and Penny.

COREY CRAVENS
Associate Director of Children, Youth and
Camping Services
Corey Cravens comes to The J with 15 years of
experience in Youth Development. He received
his Bachelor’s degree in Recreation from
Missouri State and started his career with the
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City as the
Director of Sports and Aquatics where he held that positon for five
years. He then relocated to Tucson were he opened the Jim and
Vicki Click Clubhouse with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson, and
was the Clubhouse Director there for several years. Since then
Corey has been with the Southern AZ YMCA’s and most recently
with Our Family Services working with homeless/runaway teens.
Corey was recently married to the love of his life Samantha on
June 10 in Kansas City, Missouri. Samantha works for a local non-
profit and was recently named one of this yeas Tucson’s 40 under
40. The couple enjoy hiking Sabino Canyon, playing golf, or just
hanging out with their cat KC! Of course Corey is a Kansas City Chiefs
and Royals fan so feel free to stop him in the hallways and chat!
He loves kids and is looking forward to helping to create lots of
life-long memories for them here at the Tucson J! You can reach

JENNIFER FELIX
Assistant Aquatics Director and Lessons
Coordinator
Jennifer Felix loves being around water! She
swam competitively throughout her youth and
started lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons
when she was 15. Jennifer completed her
bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona,
and began working at The J as the Assistant Aquatics Director,
Lesson Coordinator, and Assistant Coach. She is thrilled to be at
The J, teaching swimming and couldn’t be happier to be around
the water and engaging with kids every day!
When she is not around water, Jennifer enjoys cooking for her
family and chasing her toddler around
ALLISON WEXLER
Jewish Community’s Special Needs Task Force,
Special Abilities
Coordinator
Allison Wexler earned her Bachelor of Science
in Producing for Electronic Media from Syracuse
University in 1991. After working in the film
industry for several years, she returned to
school to study Early Childhood Education, earning her MEd at the
University of Illinois at Chicago. She and her husband, Michael,
moved to Tucson in 1998, where Allison taught pre-kindergarten
in our own ECE department as well as a state funded program in
TUSD.
From the moment they arrived in Tucson, 19 years ago, Allison has
been an active member of Tucson’s Jewish Community. She has
served on the JFSA’s board of directors, Young Women’s Cabinet,
Young Leadership Cabinet, as well as the Compelling Needs Grants
Committee. Currently, Allison is the Secretary of the Board of
Directors at Handmaker, Jewish Services for the Aging, and she
and her family are members at Congregation Or Chadash.
Allison is thrilled to be joining the Jewish Community’s Special
Needs Task Force as the Special Abilities Coordinator. She looks
forward to bringing a special enthusiasm and sensitivity to the
position as she serves our Jewish community’s families with
special needs. She is grateful to the Jewish Community Foundation
and Jewish Federation for their generous grants that fund this
much needed endeavor.
