Chapter 2 Lost but Found
I turned around but the little girl wasn ’ t behind me . There were woods in the distance that I hadn ’ t noticed before . The woods blocked the town off of the water trade route but their Earie glow called me towards them . I walked towards them and realized that I was still in my pajamas but I didn ’ t care . The closer I walked into the woods , the more tempting it was to sprint into them and never leave . When I reached the woods there was a low rustling but I looked everywhere , there was nothing . As I walked further into the woods , the rustling faded out and it sounded like a cry for help took its place . I recognized the voice . “ Samantha !” I cried . I ran towards the sound . When I found the source of the sound , Samantha was on a rock , crying . I ran over to her and a girl started talking . “ I spy with my little eye , someone who ’ s about to die .” The girl said stepping out go the shadows and with a blink of an eye she ’ s next to Samantha with her arm wrapped around her neck . “ Shiva help me !” Samantha said , teary eyed . “ Why , I am helping you sister .” “ Alex ” said . “ You aren ’ t Shiva !” Samantha said . “ She is .” Samantha pointed at me . “ But sister , haven ’ t you noticed , she doesn ’ t act like or sound like me ?” Before “ Alex ” could do anything , Samantha grabbed her arm and flipped her of the rock . She landed on the ground with a thump and Samantha jumped on her . Just telling by the look on my face she said , “ Daddy taught me .” “ Get them .” “ Alex ” said waving her hand , after that she fell onto the ground and the rustling in the trees came to us . “ Samantha , run !” I screamed at her . “ But what about- “ “ Just run ! Get out of here !” When Samantha turned her back , 3 stone jaguars jumped out of the trees and started pacing toward me . Samantha was already gone , but I let her go . Deep down I knew , she knew the way . The stone figures froze in place , almost as if they had the same mind . I took the chance and ran away as fast as I could . ( Which wasn ’ t very fast ) pretty soon they were behind me again and Shiva was on them . They kept chasing me until we left the forest and were on stone , there wasn ’ t very far until the end of it . I turned around and was nose to snout with one of the jaguars . “ Oh , I just love when I get my way .” Shiva said laughing . I bended my arms in front of me and put my head down , bracing myself for what would happen next . But when my arms went up the jaguars flew backwards and back into the woods , I had no clue what had just happened , but I knew it wouldn ’ t turn out good . Before I could do anything , everything went white , The power dummies had summoned me again .
