Busing Students All JFK bus routes have been posted on our district site . If you have not already done so , please identify your child ’ s bus stop location and bus number . They will need to remember their bus number for when they are dismissed . We ask that you review this information with them so they are prepared for their first days of school . We will review the dismissal process with them on their first day .

Water Please note that water fountains will be used only as a refilling station for water bottles . Please send your child to school with a water bottle for the school day . The fountain portion , where your mouth is placed , will not be accessible .

Lockers

Our lockers are not 100 % completed . We will ask that students bring a backpack and transition with their items throughout the school day . Prior to winter break in December , we will gain access to lockers again . At this time , we will assign lockers and review how utilize a combination lock . Once lockers are assigned , students will need to secure all of their items rather than transition with them .

Cell Phones Cell phones are prohibited to be out during the school day . We have school-issued iPads to utilize as an academic tool . We ask that cell phones remain in your child ’ s book bag and silenced . Once we receive our lockers , we will ask that they are stored in the locker . We need your support with this difficult with this often challenging issue .

Renovations ( map below )

We have officially entered phase 6 of our renovation and are really excited for the new spaces that have been returned to us . Phase 7 scheduled for November will return the gymnasium . Soon after , we will enter Phase 8 with the red wing being returned .
