It was a day filled with giggles and liquids, great nibbles and good friends… and some golf. We connected and we had great stories to share. The big leaguers use the word ‘networking’ to describe this connection. I, with grass burns on my golfing trousers, called it ‘cementing good friendships’. Student Village started out as a social networking website geared towards students. It connects likeminded students and assists businesses in promoting their brand in attracting the best young graduates. The website advises on careers, guides students in choosing a correct career path, and with all hope, directs them to their first job. Ronen Aires is the founder and CEO of Student Village. It seems a good load of people burst from the spring of Springs. Small-town values seep through osmosis into these country folk, giving them a sense of the street.
