DAY 1 Travel by sea to the Isles of Scilly On arrival make your way to your hotel. DAYS 2-3 St Mary’ s At leisure to explore the Scilly’ s largest island as you wish. Perhaps take a stroll around the island’ s hub, Hugh Town, or spend time at one of the lovely beaches, be it Porthcressa, Town Beach or Porthmellon, each of which are ideal for swimming, sunbathing and watersports. Wander around Old Town, or head up country away from the relative hustle and bustle and you will find that St Mary’ s is a haven of hidden treasures, with dramatic rocky coves, stunning seascapes, amazing archaeological sites and scenic walking trails.
DAY 4 St Mary’ s / St Martin’ s Head to the quay for the 30 minute journey to St Martin’ s( ferry payable locally). You’ ll find timetables chalked on boards advising boat times which are dependent on tides. On arrival, walk to your hotel.
DAY 5 St Martin’ s At just two miles long, exploring this idyllic island is sure to be a breeze! As well as some of the best beaches in the UK, St Martin’ s also boasts spectacular plant life, rare birds and sensational sea views from atop the heathery cliff paths. You’ ll also find great artisan food, a vineyard, and flower farm, the opportunity to go snorkelling amongst the playful Atlantic grey seals and can even stargaze at Scilly’ s only observatory.
DAY 6 St Martin’ s / Tresco Take a ferry back to St Mary’ s and board another for Tresco, which takes 20 minutes( ferry payable locally). On arrival, it’ s a short stroll to your hotel.
DAY 7 Tresco This stylish island retreat perfectly combines natural beauty, history and a peaceful pace. Its rugged north is a walker’ s paradise, with no finer spot to chill than the sugar-white sands of Pentle and Appletree Bays. Plus, there’ s world-famous Tresco Abbey Garden, a horticultural gem with more than 20,000 exotic plants from around the world. You’ ll also find a small, but very lovely, number of places to eat.
DAY 8 Tresco / St Mary’ s / Mainland UK The adventure concludes as you return by boat to St Mary’ s( ferry payable locally) and then travel onward to mainland UK.

Direct flights only operate from Lands End, Newquay and Exeter Airport with Skybus to the Isles of Scilly. Flights are available to Newquay from Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted; and Exeter from Belfast, Edinburgh, Manchester and Newcastle.
