The Pacific Ocean side of Australia

I traveled to the east coast cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane sometimes for business. I must admit that Sydney is the nicest of these three cities probably because of the harbor. But business travel usually includes taking a taxi right to the hotel then attending meetings followed by dinner. It wasn’ t until I was able to travel there with the family and experience Sydney as a tourist that really made me appreciate it. We decided to give Ryan a high school graduation vacation to allow him to boogie board in the best surf spots on the East Coast. Mimi, Luke, Ryan and I stayed in a five star facility located at this beach and surfing town of Manly just North of Sydney. The beach was beautiful and had a unique pool that was fed by the ocean water. We then took the 45 minute ferry boat ride that dropped us off next to the famous Sydney Opera House at Circular Quay( pronounced Key). The ride was great particularly as we neared the Sydney skyline. We then took a smaller ferry that went under the Sydney Harbor Bridge, past the famous Luna Park to the upscale area of Darling Harbor. The mono rail from there allows you to explore other parts of the city including the downtown shopping area and of course China Town where
