were people below me on the lower deck so I threw up right on the floor! Mimi ran inside to get some hot water to throw on it and we are all glad that she did not do this as it would have scalded people below deck with hot lava vomit! It was such a shame as we were minutes from escaping the boat but I couldn’ t control it. People were talking about it on the bus on the way back to the hotel. Also, the next morning Mimi and I took a walk around the lake and two people came up to me and asked if I was alright. I was now famous in TeAnau but for all the wrong reasons.
The drive to Queenstown was only 1.5 hours but the arrival was quite memorable. The

mountains surrounding a crystal clear blue lake combined with the modern town located on the shoreline was impressive to say the least. Walking through the town revealed an array of international travelers that seemed to have a common adventure theme. This is adventure mecca and caters for just about anything that will pump your adrenaline.
Luke went heli-biking at the top of the Remarkable Mountain range, landed in the snow on a helicopter, rode the jet boat in the Overshot Canyon and more. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what you can do. The restaurants are quite diverse in price and cuisine. The buffet meal at the top of the mountain in the Skyline Restaurant was a highlight of
