Steering wheel on the wrong side

There were two conferences that I had to work in to exhibit some information technology products that were on the East Coast of the USA in 2011. The first one was held in Orlando, Florida followed by the second one a month later in Atlantic City New Jersey. Mimi and I flew to Orlando, via Los Angeles where we met my niece Meghann and had another Mexican meal at my favorite place in Marina Del Rey. After working at the conference for a week we rented a car to drive up north. The rental car company provided us with a very new car and the representative presented the car to us in front of the hotel. After walking around the car and learning about its features, I commented to the Hertz representative that this car was not suited for us. She asked why not and I said that the steering wheel was on the wrong side of the vehicle! The rep said that we should probably take out some extra insurance! But we had the maximum insurance possible and we got in and drove off on the right side of the road.
Soon we were on the freeway speeding along with the other cars. It was tough but we did it as it was along time since I drove on the right side of the road. Our next destination was 2.5 hours away on the Atlantic Ocean. We stayed at a very exclusive hotel associated with a top golf course in Sawgrass. When I enquired about playing on the course they mentioned that it would be $ 350 green fee plus $ 100 club rental fee, I said that I would get back to them and didn’ t. That was a bit too much to play a round of golf. We then headed for the beautiful and quaint town of Saint Augustine Florida, with its beautiful buildings, people and old Spanish Fort. Then up to Savannah Georgia for a few days. What an incredibly engaging city with its Southern architecture and history. So many sights to see and fortunately our hotel was right on the foreshore that was centrally located. Driving North to Hilton Head allowed us to stay in a hotel right on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean.
