Professor Yoshihiko Hosoi, the President of Kindai University, made a speech on behalf of Kindai University. He said, “It is a pleasure to hold such a big event at this university, and I welcome you all to Kindai University for the third annual Japan English Model United Nations Conference.”
He talked about the Kindai University logo in his speech. The logo represents a plum blossom flower that is not complete. This shows that we all have room to improve in our lives.
Several Kindai clubs, including the Marching Band, Cheerleading club, the Traditional Japanese Music Club, and the Kindai High School Calligraphy Club performed to enthusiastic applause.
The third annual Japan English Model United Nations (JEMUN) conference opening ceremony took place in the Practical Science Hall at Kindai University with over 500 participants representing 52 different universities and high schools.
