JEMUN couldn’t be successful without the hands, hearts, and minds of the Senior Secretariat team. This morning we dive deep into the challenges faced, and experience gained during the lead up to this year’s JEMUN conference.
Firstly, we chat with 21-year-old, Chief of Staff Kyoka Fushiya, who is a fourth year Kindai University student majoring in International Studies.
This is Kyoka’s second year to attend the conference, where she was previously a volunteer.
“My role is much bigger this year compared to last year. I am Chief of Staff and my role is to take care of all the volunteers,” Kyoka said.
She believes the conference is a great opportunity to speak English and a chance to work in a team on a professional level.
“We all had a different experience last JEMUN, from being a volunteer, journalist or delegate. We all share different opinions and personalities which makes my role better,” Kyoka said.
