This time around, though, things were different. Cooper scored a game-high 29 points and No. 2 Jeff held off the fourthranked Fighting Irish for a 67-65 win.
“ He played like the best player in the state tonight,” Wilkerson said of Cooper afterward.“ He’ s super-talented on both ends of the court, and we’ re going to lean on him even more with Tre out.”
A 24-point triumph over Evansville North followed before Pike downed Jeffersonville 70-61, in spite of 28 points from Douglas, in a battle between Red Devils in Indian Hill, Ohio.

Even though Singleton didn’ t play in the consolation game, the Red Devils rebounded to beat Warsaw 51-44 that night.
The following week, Jeffersonville started 2025 with an 82-71 win over Louisville Eastern. The next night, though, Lawrence North defeated the Devils 70-64. That, however, would be their last loss of the season.
