Tapeo
2014
Jávea Historical Association’s ‘star’
event will take place from the 19th to
the 21st September
This is one of the most important
events organised every year to
promote local food.
The ‘tapeo’ which is in its eighth year,
will take place on the weekend of the
19th to 21st September, with a system which has become a must for
hundreds of residents and visitors.
As explained by the association’s
president, Sisco Vallés, all tapas cost
the same (1.5 euros) & it all happens
in the Plaza de la Constitución.
Tickets are sold in kiosks in the plaza,
which are redeemable for food and
drink and there is also entertainment
for children & music.
This year the ‘tapeo’ is scheduled for
the Friday and Saturday nights, and
also lunchtime on Sunday.
Those who attend will find many
different dishes, such as rice and
sandwiches, stews, sweets and ice
cream, alongside different wines and
cocktails from participating wineries
and bars.
The
Councillor
for
Economic
Development, Juan Luis Cardona,
congratulated the association for this
“star” event, which is part of the
municipal project “gastroxabia” that
promotes local products & cuisine
He also thanked all the sponsors,
including AMJASA, for supporting
the event.
As president of Historic Jávea, Cardona invites all residents to visit the
‘tapeo’ and enjoy the food and great
atmosphere that this event always
brings.
