Dortmund Bundesieger and International shows

May 2013 saw a double weekend of shows at the Westfallenhalle in Dortmund, Germany. This is 2 shows running at the same time in the same venue. The various groups show on different days. For us (in Group 5 – Spitz and Primitive dogs) this meant that we competed in the International show on Friday and the Europasieger on the Sunday. Due to not wanting to take too much time off work I loaded up my Anshee Tokaloshi by Injami into the van on the Thursday afternoon and set off for Dortmund. I picked up Maureen Thompson and Cherry Wilkinson with Tsoyu Amaya and Mosou Go Shun’you Kensha and we were off. It was a fairly long drive down to Folkstone, where we just managed to get on the train, third to last ones one! And had a quick nap before the drive through to Dortmund. We made it to Dortmund just before 3am and checked into the Ibis for a few hours much needed sleep before setting off for the last 20 minutes to the showground. On arrival we managed to find 3 spare crates near to our ring.
