Through this message of friendship, I sincerely wish the Japanese people further progress and prosperity. Algeria and Japan share excellent relations on political, economic, scientific and cultural sectors, which are all deeply rooted in history dating back to 1958 during the struggle of the Algerian people for independence. Besides the possibility of financing their projects by the local government, foreign investors also benefit from tax exemption for three years or six years respectively in the highlands and the south of Algeria with the possibility of transfer of dividends at any time. In fact, given the rapid growth of Algerian Japanese economic relations, it is important to further facilitate relations among scientific, technical and cultural fields. The deepening and intensification of bilateral relations, especially on economic and scientific fields, will be the core of my priorities as Ambassador of Algeria to Japan.
