A new national performance horse gelding sale record was also set on the Day One of the Select Sale after Wayne and Janine Carney offered Lot 39, Destinys Mirage Q-71947, a son of the imported sire Acres Destiny Q-38061 and Mariah Oak Q-63924, presented by Hugh Miles to sell for $60,000 to the Trewilga Partnership. DAY Seven of the Landmark Classic and Day Two of the Landmark Classic Select Sale saw the sale of Noel Chiconi Landmark Masters Winner Lot 283, Yaven Spinacat A2-3231, an exciting colt sired by Metallic Cat (IS) Q-72828 and out of One Moore Romance A1-10558. Sold by John and Jenn Corbett and presented by Rob Leach. He sold for the already mentioned $130,000 to Hughes Pastoral and was top priced horse for Day Two and the entire sale. DAY Eight of the Landmark Classic and Day Three of the 2018 Landmark Classic Select Sale saw the very first daughter out of Bulla Flurry, a daughter of Dual Rey (IS) Q-52538, was top priced horse of the day, brining $89,000. She was purchased by Evan and Kim Acton, of Queensland. DAY Nine of the Landmark Classic and Day Four of the 2018 Landmark Classic Select Sale saw some remarkable lots on offer. Including Lindee McNaughton showing style Lot 555, Moore Play Q-90050, a son of One Moore Playboy Q-43422 and Moore Park Oaklands Q-69406, on account of Tom Williamson sold for $49,000 to Hughes Pastoral. Lot 562, a two year old colt, Western Duck A1-11819, owned by Stephen and Cheryl Miller sold for $42,000 to T&T Mills. Lot 587, a three year old mare, Mitchells Little Missing Acre, owned by John Mitchell sold for $40,000 to P&J Donnelly. At the end of Day Nine the 2018 Landmark Classic Campdraft and Select Sale saw the conclusion to an action packed event. One that saw some of the finest horses on offer in the world.
