Time Saving Hacks for the New Year with Nutrition Have pre-cut fruits and vegetables in the fridge ready to go ! Weekend meal prep can be a helpful tool during a busy week . Choose your meals , shop and even pre cook some of it ! Batch Cooking . Cook a bunch of protein up to have readily available . Try bagging and freezing pre-packaged crock pot meals . Always carry water with you !

2025 Annual Group Fitness Class Passes are now on sale ! To sign up , contact the front desk . Cost : $ 600.00 ( Monthly Pass : $ 125 )
Group fitness classes must be booked online or by calling the front desk to register . Equity members may book 4 days in advance ; Guests may book 24 hours in advance . Monthly class passes must be purchased by the 5th of each month .
Immediate family may use the Wellness & Fitness Center after 10:00 AM from November 1 through April 30 . They can also book group fitness classes up to 24 hours in advance by calling 772-231-8547 .
GET TO KNOW ANGELA WEITZ : JIC ’ S NEW PERSONAL TRAINER & INTEGRATIVE NUTRITION COACH
As JIC ’ s new personal trainer and integrative nutrition coach , Angela Weitz is eager to blend her expertise in both fitness and nutrition to help members feel their best inside and out . With a deep passion for supporting her clients ’ well-being , she offers a comprehensive approach that includes personalized strength and mobility sessions , myofascial release , balance training , and guidance on improving sleep , nutrition and more ! She believes wellness should be enjoyable and has many exciting wellness seminars and classes that are currently in the works .
Angela will be teaming up with massage therapist April Griffin for a Lymphatic System Seminar . This seminar will teach members simple self-care techniques to boost detox and immune function while also exploring the benefits of Medi Cupping and targeted lymphatic massage from one of JIC certified lymphatic massage therapist . For those seeking more personalized support , Angela will also be offering a weekly self-lymphatic group class that you won ’ t want to miss .
Angela is also thrilled to introduce Meditative Paint & Sip sessions , a fun and creative experience combining social connection , relaxation , and artistic expression . Participants will paint abstract pieces inspired by chakra colors while enjoying a curated wine-tasting experience , guided by Golf Club Manager , Igor Kerimovski . It ’ s a unique way to unwind and tap into your creativity — like yoga for the soul , with wine ! Meditative painting is a great way to quiet the mind and focus your attention in the present moment . Stay tuned for upcoming dates and additional details about these events .
For Angela , integrated wellness is about nurturing the mind , body , and spirit . She believes that true transformation happens when working out becomes enjoyable , healthy food is both nourishing and delicious , and a healthy lifestyle sparks joy . Her approach is rooted in a blend of science , art , and a deep love for nourishing food .
Angela has her Yoga Teacher Certification ( RYT 200 ) and is a Certified Personal Trainer ( CPT ). She also holds a certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition . She has spent 10 years teaching Vinyasa Flow and has a special place in her heart for senior fitness .
Angela enjoys being part of an innovative and collaborative team at JIC , which is one of her favorite aspects of her work . She ’ s excited to connect with the Club ’ s members and to support them in achieving their wellness goals .
