Job Environment :
Work is performed primarily indoors and outdoors up to 1 / 3 of the time . Work environment is moderately loud . Operates computer equipment , printer , facsimile machine , telephone , copier , and all other standard office equipment ; operates automobiles , and survey equipment , measuring wheel , tape measures and scales . Interacts frequently with the public , residents , business owners , City departments and Officials , contractors , consultants , and agencies such as NHDOT , NHDES and EPA . Contacts are in person , by telephone , and by email and involve an information exchange dialogue . Errors could result in delays or loss of services , cause damage to buildings and / or equipment and injury to others , impact public health and may have legal and / or financial ramifications .
