YOUNG LAWYERS SECTION YLS Annual Adopt-A-School Tradition Continues Despite COVID-19
The Young Lawyers Section didn ’ t let COVID stop them from continuing their annual Adopt-A-School tradition this year ! Typically , YLS hosts a Back to School Bash for a local school each year , but in lieu of an in-person event in 2020 , YLS opted to donate 650 headphone sets to students of Belle Glade Elementary School for use during their distance learning . YLS also donated 100 adult masks with the school logo to the teachers and staff of Belle Glade Elementary School . The donations were made possible , in part , by a grant from the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division .
