Adjournment :
With the purchase of the stalls , it has taken considerable time and effort to transport them , set them up , take them down . Looking into options to hire out the transportation as it takes 6 loads on a 32ft flatbed trailer to haul them . Also , it ’ s a lot of work for volunteers , might need to pay for additional help , but also trying to keep the costs down . Looking for someone that might own a trucking company to help with transportation and looking for 1400 square feet for storage .
A family reached out to WSCA with a letter regarding how they have a kid that is essentially excluded from Champ Show . It was a very thoughtful and informative letter to make the organization aware of the possibility of adding adaptive classes to Champ Show . We want WSCA to be more inclusive , so we have started the process by adding adaptive classes to Champ Show . Still in the very beginning stages , such as deciding the formatting , who can participate , determining ability levels and trying to determine the facility requirements . WSCA will be looking for people who might have interest in comping to Champ Show and participate or know of someone to participate in the adaptive classes .
Motion made by Cindy Ladd ( Over Easy Riders ), seconded by Nancy Loen ( Waska Riders ) to adjourn the meeting at 3:042 PM . Motion carried unanimously .
