ing and political activity peaking
with every passing day the security
forces have already expressed
fears about the possible misuse of
combat dress by the militant organisations before attacking strategic
locations and spreading fear in the
minds of the common people.
It may be recalled that militants in
army combat uniforms in the past,

have carried out attacks on army
and paramilitary forces both in
Jammu and Kashmir valley.
Sources further said that fearing
misuse of combat uniforms that are
easily available in the market the
state government may be well
advised to look into the matter and
impose ban on its sale and purchase strictly.
Though the district administration
is supposed to maintain a tight vigil
on selected shops selling such
items still lack of manpower and
work culture prevents them from
daily monitoring of their stocks and
vulnerable businessmen often fall
prey to the unjust requirement of
unauthorised customer.
