New in town ARC moved its headquarters to Northeast Florida in July 2021 . We conducted an extensive study to find the ideal location to best serve our customers and partners as well as support our employees . Northeast Florida offered the right business climate , a great quality of life , and proximity to Jaxport where our ships call regularly .
Ocean services ARC ’ s fleet is the most versatile USflag ro / ro fleet at sea today . In various configurations , these vessels can transport thousands of automobiles , trucks and military vehicles , as well as helicopters and breakbulk cargo .
ARC is a proud participant in the US government ’ s Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement ( VISA ) and is committed to meeting the needs of the Department of Defense in peacetime or in time of national emergency . All of ARC ’ s US -flag vessels are enrolled in the Maritime Security Program ( MSP ).
Jacksonville is one of 17 US Strategic Seaports to move military cargo for national defense , foreign humanitarian assistance and disaster relief and is the only port in Florida with this designation .
