In Series 3, Bea and her new colleague Karim investigate a telecom company building 5G networks in the Middle East. What starts as a routine story reveals a web of corruption, with the company bribing Taliban warlords. When a Swedish engineer is kidnapped, Bea and Karim find themselves in the middle of a dangerous power struggle. Bea is forced to confront a devastating personal truth – one that ties directly to her investigation and threatens to destroy family relationships forever.
