All Creatures Great and Small

Based on the worldwide bestselling novels, this is programming with heart

Back in the glorious Yorkshire Dales, this long-running family favourite, proven to deliver record-breaking ratings across the globe, returns for more heartwarming tales.
Series 6 begins in 1945, a week before the war ends. The Skeldale House family are scattered to the winds with Mrs. Hall living with her son and new grandchild, Tristan away with the army, and James and Helen occupied bringing up their two small children. When Tristan returns home, he finds that Siegfried has gone feral without them all to keep him in check and he quickly sets out to bring the family back together. All our characters begin to navigate what daily life means after the war- especially for the housewives who entered the world of work while the men were away – and our Skeldale family continue to care for the animals around the Dales with their characteristic heart and warmth.
