3. Locke & Key
In at 3 is Locke & Key, created by Joe Hill. For those of you who are unfamiliar with who Joe Hill is, he is Stephen King's son! This comic is simply amazing; I’ve often had it described to me as the comic you give to people that aren’t into comics.
The premise is set around a family of people who inherit a house called Locke Manor from their recently deceased relatives, but obviously, not all is at it seems with the house. There are multiple locked doors within the house with no apparent way of opening them; unless you have the right key of course.
This comic pushes your imagination to the limits and manages to create a very eerie tone, there are mysteries in every page that later on you'll look back on and wonder why you never got it in the first place. It is a definite must read for ANYONE! Comic book fan or not.
