1. Trick 'r Treat
Finally, what you've all been waiting for, in at number 1 is Trick 'r Treat. This film is Halloween in a nutshell. Set in a town on Halloween night, it features several short stories that are linked in some way. It’s a horror film. But not really! I mean, I wouldn’t let my kids watch it, but its mostly just good fun.
It tells us the story of why jack-o’-lanterns were actually first created, which is pretty cool. It also teaches us the true spirit of Halloween, and it makes me sad that people don’t celebrate Halloween like the town in this movie.
It's an old film, so I’m sure you can get it for cheap. I do recommend it though; my girlfriend and I watch it every year without fail.
