TAG Heuer introduces the Carrera Carbon Heuer 02T
Phantom and two Carrera Carbon Chronographs, both 45mm
watches made with carbon cases. The Carrera Carbon Heuer
02T Phantom features a darker version of the TAG Heuer
manufacture 02T tourbillon movement, visible through the
transparent sapphire caseback. It’s sold on a matte black
leather strap with a rubber inner lining and limited to 500
pieces ($21,500). The TAG Heuer Carrera Carbon in rose gold
or blue rhodium joins the Carrera collection with TAG Heuer
in-house Caliber Heuer 02 with a power reserve of more than
eighty hours. One of the models features a case of rose gold
and carbon (with red accents on the dial) while the other
features a carbon case and blue rhodium accents. Both arrive
with a perforated black rubber strap and are available as a
limited edition of 350 (rose gold) and 750 (blue rhodium)
pieces. Prices: Blue Rhodium $7,700; Rose gold: $9,750
TIMELESS MACHINE LE
Porsche Design debuted its new 911 Chronograph Timeless Machine
LE at the same time its automotive partner, Porsche, unveiled its new
911 992 in Los Angeles. The chronograph, a limited edition of 911
watches, is a 42mm glass bead-blasted titanium chronograph with a
black dial, white markers and red and grey accents designed to echo
the Porsche 911 dashboard finishing. Even the strap is made with the
same leather used inside the new Porsche 911. And visible from the
sapphire caseback is a custom-finished Valjoux 7750 automatic
chronograph movement with a Porsche Design rotor. Price: $5,411

FERRARI BIG BANG
SCUDERIA CORSA
Scuderia Corsa and Hublot debut the all-new Hublot Ferrari Big
Bang personalized timepieces celebrating the first 100 victories
of Scuderia Corsa. A series in a limited run of 25 pieces, Hublot’s
latest 45mm edition features an authentic carbon fiber case
from the team’s Ferrari 488 GT3 machine. Inside is
HUB1243 UNICO, a manufacture self-winding chronograph
flyback movement with column wheel. This will serve as the
second collaboration between the two brands, having previously
enjoyed a launch in 2016 of a similar edition that celebrated the
team’s historic season that featured multiple championships
across several series, a win at Le Mans, and the crowning of the
first-ever female champion in IMSA history. Price: $34,600.
