has sponsored the world-famous Kieler
Woche as the Official Timekeeper at the
Kieler Woche Regattas. Since 2009 the
brand has even skippered its own ship
with a fourteen-person (female) crew
that regularly competes in international
regattas. The boat itself is a racing
cruiser that is 46 feet long, boasts a
23-meter mast height, and has around
230 square meters of sail surface.
Tutima remains strongly anchored
in sailing, and last year the firm
unveiled the M2 Seven Seas, a 44mm
model based on the successful M2
chronograph that Tutima launched a
few years ago.
The 44mm titanium M2 Seven
Seas offers the time, date and day. The
automatic movement is visible through
the sapphire crystal caseback, and
the rotor is grey to complement the
titanium case. This watch arrives with
a blue or black dial, SuperLuminova
hands and markers and is available
with a titanium bracelet with folding
clasp ($2,300) or with a Kevlar strap
($1,900).
