Soror Roushaun Johnson of Epsilon Xi Omega Chapter in San Diego co-authored her first book , The New Female Leader . Her novel is a roadmap for female entrepreneurs , professional women , those building a business , and anyone in between who would like to become a better leader and businesswomen . The New Female Leader offers women in various areas of business and life from entry level positions , corporate executives , and entrepreneur ' s shortcuts and tools on how to refine and elevate their skills . This novel is raw , authentic , personable and informative . Soror Johnson shares personal stories about her life and growing up in Compton , California .
Lorde Releases Novel
Soror Richelle A . Lorde of Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter in Miami releases her first book , A Matter of Choice . So much of Alicia ' s world can easily mirror our own as she travels a path that refuses to settle for social and gender divide , sexism , and the like . It is a path that unlocks a truth within her that changes her very existence . From start to finish , this story of a young woman ' s journey into the essence of who she was created to be brings a sense of self-reflection . Sooner or later we all realize it ' s just A Matter of Choice . Soror Lorde received a BA in creative writing from Florida Atlantic University . She is the senior pastor of Jesus People Ministries Church International and principal owner of Klassik Michelle Handbags . In 2020 , she received the Legacy Miami magazine award for Most Influential Women in Business . Soror Lorde currently serves Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter as chaplain . Robinson Contributes to HBCU Experience Book
Soror Natalie Robinson is a published contributing author of North Carolina A & T State University ' s 2nd Edition of The HBCU Experience . In this book she and her fellow Aggies share how their beloved Ayantee ( A & T ) has shaped them into the scholars they are today . Soror Robinson ' s chapter , Pour Back Into the Culture , chronicles her journey to Aggieland . She writes about being the product of immigrant parents , why she chose North Carolina A & T , why she selected her major , and how her HBCU experience helped her thrive in her career . This is her first time as a contributing author of a book . Soror Robinson was initiated into the Alpha Phi Chapter and graduated from North Carolina A & T State University with a degree in transportation and logistics , now Supply Chain Management . She currently works in supplier diversity at Facebook . She is a member of the Pi Kappa Omega Chapter in Manhattan , New York where she serves as graduate advisor and technology chairman .
Vargus Publishes Black Family Reunions Book
Soror Ione D . Vargus of Omega Omega Chapter , Philadelphia , PA , traveled for many years throughout the country to visit various black family reunions in observation of their performance . She interviewed numerous members of those families as well . Her book , entitled Black Family Reunions : Finding the Rest of Me delves into the social and psychological benefits of having reunions , as well as some advice and guidance on detailed practical aspects of planning and holding a reunion . Soror Vargus is professor emerita of Temple University and the first African American of academic dean in Temple ' s history . She became Temple ' s acting vice provost for undergraduate education and presidential fellow . Soror Vargus founded the Family Reunion Institute at Temple University over 30 years ago . She has become a nationally acclaimed authority on reunions and their role in our families and communities . She has been interviewed or quoted by nearly four hundred national and local publications and has appeared on several media platforms . She is known as the Mother of Family Reunions . Willis Publishes Racial Equity Book
Charter Member Soror Darlene V . Willis , PhD ., published her second book , Revealed : True Testimonials and Lessons Learned on Covert and Blatant Racial Experience . While the book will be available on Amazon or Barnes and Noble , if you order through Soror Willis ' website ( www . collegeboundprograms . org / revealed-book ), the book will be autographed and proceeds will be given to two of her favorite non-profits , Concerned Parents Alliance and the Change4Shawn Foundation . This book allows readers to self-reflect and ask themselves if they are part of the racial equity problem or part of the solution . Leaning on her experience as an educator , Soror Willis also co-authored Empowering Parents : A Guide to Taking Control of Your Child ' s Educational Journey , with charter member Soror Marsha R . Overton-Dodson . Soror Willis also is a charter member and executive director / co-founder of Concerned Parents Alliance / College Bound Programs , which empowers scholars and their parents to navigate the educational system .
