Alpha Alpha Omicron Omega Chartered in the South Central Region
Forney , TX – " Expanding Our Excellence Through Sisterhood and Service " is the mantra of the newly chartered Alpha Alpha Omicron Omega Chapter . The monumental occasion of the first chapter to charter during the pandemic and the first fourletter chapter in the Northeast Texas Cluster was held on March 7 , 2021 , at the Hilton / Dallas Lakefront Rockwall , with South Central Regional Director Joya T . Hayes presiding . The path to become a graduate chapter was unforgettable for the 55 charter members and four chapter members . After a series of meetings , and preparation , the Pearls by the Lake became an official interest group in November of 2019 . Since its inception , this group served the 800 square mile radius in and around Kaufman and Rockwall Counties , located just east of Dallas County , and successfully fulfilled 100 % of the sorority ' s Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service targets and International Impact Days . Supreme Basileus Glenda Glover attended the first chapter meeting and offered greetings of congratulations to the members and newly elected officers , including chapter organizer and President Dawn Funches Allen . The season of sowing for the chapter culminated in a virtual celebration on March 28 , 2021 . The commemoration was attended by more than 500 guests , with celebratory expressions received from First Supreme Anti-Basileus Danette Anthony Reed and numerous sorority members , family , and friends throughout the country . The members of Alpha Alpha Omicron Omega Chapter are enthusiastic to continue maintaining , growing , and rendering " Service to All Mankind ."
