Camille C . Akpulonu , a general member , initiated in Pi Chapter , self-published a children ' s chapter book . The Adventures of Bubblegum Bobby : The Journey Begins is the first book about a daydreaming , honest , quirky kid named Bobby who aims to blow the world ' s largest bubblegum bubble . He wants to impress his older brother and get into the Guinness World Records like his father , the strongest man in the world . Once his goal is accomplished , he and his curious dog get stuck in the bubble and float around the world . She tackles everything from dating to colorism and racial profiling to living with a host family . Soror Claytor , an award-winning journalist , and Fulbright alum , also writes extensively about remote black communities she interacted with while living abroad . This book follows Journi , a young African American girl traveling throughout the world on lifechanging adventures . Soror Stephany Powell of Alpha Gamma Omega , Los Angeles , California , authored a human trafficking prevention and awareness workbook entitled , My Choice , My Body , My Rules . The workbook is designed for middle to high school students and fulfills the requirement of California AB 1227 , which requires educators to provide instruction to students on human trafficking . The workbook can be used in the classroom , with youth groups , and by individuals . The book covers both labor and sex trafficking and has been used both nationally and internationally .
