As a successful Workers ’ Compensation trial attorney for the past twenty-five years , Hazel Estwick Hurley has successfully defended thousands of cases while working as In-House Counsel for a major insurance carrier . Her experience ranges from settling cases at preconference hearings to trying cases to conclusion . Mrs . Estwick Hurley is a registered nurse and that experience has helped her to comprehend complex medical issues in workers ’ compensation . She is also a certified workers ’ compensation trial attorney . Mrs . Estwick Hurley is a graduate of Syracuse University and received a B . S . N . and is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law where she received her J . D . Mrs . Dallas , Texas native , Dr . LaDácher Jackson , has spent 14 years in education as a teacher , championship coach , administrator and educational leader . In 2019 , she founded Future of Excellence , a 501 ( c ) 3 organization , for which she serves as the Executive Director . Her focus is helping students develop the soft skills necessary to navigate post-secondary education and career opportunities . A new author , she will soon release her first book , Still Standing : From Brokenness to the Beauty of Letting Go . Dr . Jackson was initiated into the Epsilon Mu chapter at the University of North Texas in 2004 where she competed her B . F . A . and M . S Degrees . She later earned a M . Ed . from Lamar University and her Doctorate from Grand Canyon University . Dr . Jackson has served our sorority in numerous capacities and is currently the First Vice President and Program Chairman for the Omicron Mu Omega chapter . She also serves on the South Central Regional Investigations Team .

Dr . Joy Jackson-Guilford is Director of Pipeline Partnerships for the Equity , Equality , Diversity & Inclusion team at AbbVie , Inc . In this role , she is responsible for developing , leading , and overseeing the strategy for expanding external pipeline partnerships that drive and enhance AbbVie ’ s early and mid-level diverse talent pipeline and opportunities through : ( a ) Historically Black Colleges & Universities and Hispanic Serving Institutions ; ( b ) Alumni Forums with Fraternities and Sororities ; and ( c ) Student and Professional STEM / Business / Leadership Organizations . Jackson-Guilford has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 23 years in various capacities including leadership roles in Pharmaceutical Project Management and Medical Affairs . She is actively involved in the community and as an HBCU Alumnae . She currently serves as the South Atlantic Region Representative to the International Constitution Committee and is the Immediate Past President of Chi Tau Omega Chapter . Her professional and civic success has led to numerous honors and awards .

Shantelle K . Jenkins is an Associate Professor and Assistant Vice President at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and is the first Black woman appointed to a senior leadership role . She serves on the President ’ s Council , is chief author / final reviewer of all programs , Degree proposals , and is the Accreditation Liaison Officer for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies . She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a certificate in nonprofit management from Bryn Mawr College . Her research interests include executive coaching , talent development , women in leadership , and she is an advocate for the inclusion and success of students and faculty from underrepresented groups . The Ohio State University Black Alumni Society inducted her into Buckeyes Under 40 for her community service , leadership , and philanthropy as an alumna . She is a member of Omega Mu Omega Chapter and currently serves as Second Vice President and Membership Chair .

Oanh Maroney-Omitade has led in various capacities at Methodist Healthcare Ministries ( MHM ) for over two decades . As Vice President of Organizational Excellence , she is responsible for leading internal organizational transformation , including culture change ; the integration of new methods and disciplines to drive performance , shared leadership and accountability ; and development of diversity , equity and inclusion education and initiatives . Previously , Oanh led MHM ’ s direct-service operations , which encompassed medical , dental , psychiatry , behavioral health , health education / nutrition services and community-based family wellness programs , comprising over 250 team members and a $ 38 million budget . She earned her Bachelor ’ s Degree from Stanford University , Master ’ s Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is currently pursuing a Master ’ s in Jurisprudence in Healthcare Law , Policy & Management from Texas A & M University School of Law . She was named by the San Antonio Business Journal as a “ Health Care Hero ,” Outstanding Health Care Executive – Nonhospital Based in 2020 .
