Inaugural Executive Leadership Academy

Lives Up To Its Promise

Black women represent the most educated demographic yet they are disproportionately underrepresented in C-suite positions in corporate , nonprofit , and public organizations . As Black women seek to claim their seats at the table , one of the most significant hurdles they face is the lack of specialized training focused on the tools and exposure required to be successful at the highest levels .
The Executive Leadership Academy ( ELA ) was conceptualized for sorors to accelerate career progress , advance in a corporate setting , and prepare for C-Suite positions and board appointments . The Academy includes training for industry , organizations , government , and public service . The Executive Leadership Academy operates under the umbrella of AKA University , a customized , four-track approach to leadership excellence ; focuses on personal growth , professional development , and an awareness of the diverse communities we serve .
