Dear members

As you can probably guess, planning is well underway for the 2023 National Conference. This one is dear to my heart – we’re going to be hosting you in Adelaide, my (new) ‘home town’. The team—AKA the State Committee—are already working hard to make sure this is a knock-out event and that we deliver a conference experience that everyone can be proud of.

Personally, I’m excited!

One significant change we made behind the scenes was to bring the ‘All Occasions Group’ on board as our Conference organisers. There’s a ton of things that happen behind the scenes and our new partners are conference and event experts who are already working hard to make sure our vision is delivered in a seamless, no-fuss way.

I see that notification of the ‘Earlybird Rates’ have already been posted to LinkedIn; check back and see when you can register – the link has been included.

I would like to extend a personal welcome to David Low and Carolyn Walker as new Members to the Board and to welcome back Rose Dyson, a returning Member. All three are well known, widely respected and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the group.

We have been well served by the Board in recent years and I’m pleased to have three such quality individuals join us in what remains quite tough times for the NFP sector.

A reminder for any ITIL v3 Experts: the equivalent ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition Course has been extended by PeopleCert to the end of September. My advice is to take advantage of this if you can, while you can.

Finally, I would like to extend my regards to anyone of our community who might be ‘doing it tough’ just at the minute. We are a community, so please feel free to reach out – I know there will be people within your own circle who’ll want to lend a hand.
