Hello and welcome to the July Bulletin. Following our recent AGM, I’m thrilled to write to you as the newly elected Chair of the itSMF Australia Board.

A heartfelt thanks to Brendan Cullen for five outstanding years as Chair. His leadership through challenging times has been invaluable, and I’m grateful he continues as a Director and support to me as I step into the role.
Also, a warm thank you to Ryan Bunney—his energy and contributions will be missed and am sure we will bump into him at future events.
A bit about me...
My journey started in hospitality in the early ‘90s (yes, that gives away my age 😉), I fell into IT as a Y2K tester, and then discovered service management in 2007—my career superhighway.
I’ve been an individual itSMFA member since ~2010, served on the Victoria State Committee from 2012, and joined the National Board in 2019. Most recently, I held the Conference Awards Director and Deputy Chair role and now Chair.
Our volunteer spirit...
With just three wonderful paid staff in our National Office —Sheryl, Michelle, and Bec—our Forum thrives because of passionate volunteers. The Forum State and Territory Committees and the National Board—serve the Forum for love, not the money. How good is that.
