Hi.
Hope you are all doing well.
I’ll keep my column short this month as I have been on leave and just catching up on things.
During my leave I visited family and friends in the Isle of Man. It was the first time I had been able to get over since 2019 for reasons that we all know about. It was great to reconnect with everyone in person. Unfortunately, the weather was typically British with the UK recording the wettest July on record.
I would like to thank Janet Holling who looked after things whilst I was away, and some great progress has been made regarding 2024 Conference planning. Hopefully you will have all seen the recent posts and emails about next year’s Conference which will be held 21st & 22nd August at the Pullman on the Park, East Melbourne, with the Gala Dinner being just a short walk away at the iconic MCG. We have also had some early registrations come through the National Office 😊
Enrolment is also open for the next wave of the itSMF Mentoring Program. We are looking for mentors and mentees to join in.
Being a mentor is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other Service Management professionals who might be just starting out on their service management journey, and help them achieve their career and personal goals, as well as simply passing on your vast knowledge and insight into the different layers of service management.
Enjoy the magazine.
