In the constantly evolving scenario of the plastics processing industry, Union is considered a point of reference in view of its technical expertise, industrial vision, and reliability. Ferdinando Passoni, CEO of the Union group, emphasises how today the ability to guide customers in choosing the right solution is more strategic than ever: „ Nowadays, it‘ s not enough to just build machines,“ Passoni underlines. „ It is also necessary to support customers responsibly, even by telling them that a certain project is unsuitable or not yet feasible. BESPOKE SOLUTIONS AND INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS An example of Union‘ s technical expertise is the plant currently being shipped to the United States: a large-scale extrusion line packed into 38 containers, the result of a dedicated patent-pending design. The company stands out for its ability to manage highly complex processing systems, responding to specific needs with reliable and flexible engineering solutions. „ Large-scale projects like this one cannot be improvised,“ Passoni explains. „ They require knowledge, method, and great attention to detail. It‘ s an approach that has always distinguished us and that our customers appreciate, so much so that discussions are already underway for two additional sister lines.“
