Automation, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and energy efficiency were the main themes of the Pegaso Industries Summer Meeting, which brought together international customers, partners and distributors last June to share the strategy and the latest innovations developed by the group’ s companies. Through the expertise of Plastic Systems, PET Solutions, Blauwer, Ergomec and Steel Systems, Pegaso Industries aims to offer comprehensive solutions to support the evolution of the plastics industry towards increasingly intelligent and sustainable production models. The Pegaso Industries Summer Meeting provided an opportunity to demonstrate how the group’ s strength lies in its ability to integrate diverse technologies and skills into a single industrial offering. No longer individual machines, but complete systems in which material handling, dosing, drying, refrigeration, system structures and software communicate with each other to optimise every stage of the production process.
THE EXPERTISE OF AN INTEGRATED GROUP During the event, Pegaso Industries illustrated the contributions of the various companies that make up the group. Plastic Systems specialises in feeding, pneumatic conveying, dosing, mixing and drying systems for plastic materials, with a range of products for both injection moulding and extrusion applications. PET Solutions develops technologies dedicated to PET processing, with solutions designed to meet the industry’ s growing demands for quality and productivity. Blauwer contributes its expertise in industrial refrigeration and process temperature control, i. e. the key factors for ensuring stability, energy efficiency and production continuity. Completing the team are Ergomec – specialising in the design and construction of silos, storage and material handling systems – and Steel Systems, the group’ s metal working and carpentry specialist.
