CLEANCHANGER ® AND BDOX2, FOR CONTINUOUS EFFICIENCY The company’ s flagship product is CleanChanger ®, a self-cleaning, continuous-flow hydraulic screen changer patented in Italy in 2022 and subsequently in the EU and the US. The automated backflush cleaning system ensures effective mesh cleaning even at very low operating pressures. These features make this screen changer the ideal solution for compounding, pelletising, low-viscosity polymers and the recycling of heavily contaminated |
materials. The triple plate maintains constant flow during washing, the automatic extraction of the breaker plates, unique on the market, makes screen replacement quick and safe, while the PLC allows for customised recipes as well as for remote monitoring and assistance in line with Industry 4.0 requirements. The BDOx2 instead is a compact and versatile solution for continuous extrusion systems as well as for blown film plants.“ Today, industrial innovation only makes sense when it generates a concrete impact, such as reducing waste, improving efficiency and making recycling increasingly competitive,” says Dino Boicelli.
FIGURES, MARKETS AND CSR More than fifty employees, 5,500 square meters( to be shortly expanded by adding 6,000 square meters), approximately 1,300 machines produced annually and operating worldwide. Italy accounts for 54 % of sales while 46 % originate from exports to Germany, Spain, Austria, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, North America and the Far East. BD Plast’ s commitment to the environment is demonstrated by the“ Greenhouse Gas Inventory”, an 800-panel photovoltaic system installed at the company’ s premises and the“ Seeds of Change” reforestation project together with Treedom. In addition, the company supports the local communities through the initiatives of Associazione Giulia Onlus and Matilde Basket Bondeno. After PRSE, Plast Milano and Equiplast Barcelona, this autumn will take BD Plast to new European trade fairs and, in November, to its debut at Argenplas in Buenos Aires.
