As always, Fakuma represents the most important trade fair of the year for the plastics processing industry. For BMB, it is a key event thanks to its strong focus on injection moulding and its increasingly international audience, compared with previous editions when the exhibition was predominantly attended by visitors from the German-speaking market. At Fakuma 2026, BMB will once again showcase a premium manufacturing solution engineered to the highest quality standards. This production cell has been specifically designed to continue operating after the exhibition at the facilities of our valued customer SAF Bianco, based in Vicenza, Italy, which has been directly involved in the development of the project and is the owner of the complete production system.
A CELL DEVELOPED WITH LEADING PARTNERS To get a Premium solution requires first-class partners. The project brings together the Swiss mould manufacturer Otto Hofstetter AG for the packaging mould and Campetella Robotic Center for the IML automation system, supported by leading industry specialists including MCC for in-mould labels, Mevisco for vision inspection, Borouge for the raw material and Industrial Frigo for the cooling system. The production cell manufactures oval dairy containers using an 8-cavity mould with an output of approximately 7,900 parts per hour.
