The third generation at the helm of Beccaria , a longstanding company from Cuneo , has speeded up an evolution process which had been already in place for years . For four years , a wide process of evolution has been taking place at Beccaria , a long-standing manufacturer of plastic processing machines founded in 1951 by the Beccaria family . The company specialises in the production and installation of machinery and special equipment for the industrial storage , transport and mixing of plastic materials , with the related support services . Other application areas of interest are rubber , the food , milling and feed industry ( the agricultural-zootechnical sector , where Beccaria has been active since its inception ), dry pre-mixes for the building industry , products for the chemical industry ( powders ) wood pellets milling / refining systems , with a total of 6,000 units delivered around the world . The applications of Beccaria machines include the processing of powders , pellets and flakes , where recycling is becoming increasingly important . As regards the products in the company ’ s portfolio , available in different series , there is a strong requests for augers , silos and vertical mixers , even in large capacity versions designed for outdoor installation . Today Beccaria is led by the third generation of the founder family , who have given a strong acceleration in the transition from a business mainly oriented to metalworking and construction - as indicated by the original name of the company - to a modern industrial company with a new corporate identity devoted to maximum energy saving and offering the most advanced skills , also at the level of design and R & D , and able to meet the demands coming from an increasingly global market in the wave of the company ’ s accomplishments in Italy and in Europe . To achieve this goal , huge investments have been made in structures ( 30,000 square meters , of which 15,000 reserved for production ), equipment , personnel ( about 100 employees backed by a network of dozens of agents that is constantly expanding in Italy and abroad ) and a new corporate image has been officially launched - although this evolution had been underway for some time , first of all with the official inauguration , in 2019 , of the renovated headquarters in Scarnafigi ( Cuneo ).
