The Break Machinery factory in Grantorto ( near Padua ) deeper and deeper into the available waste , while only two or three years ago regenerated materials in general were much less popular on the market . Now , on the contrary , there is almost an obligation to use all that you can , so the demand has skyrocketed while post-industrial waste has become almost impossible to find and everyone is looking for methods to regenerate post-consumer waste contaminated with everything . For example , the household appliance waste incorporating small steel parts , aluminium , screws ... in short , E & E waste in general with high quantities of contaminants , even iron . Some expensive systems can offer good results in the separation of metal contaminants but a lot of stuff goes through anyway : it depends a bit on the collector too . However we are satisfied : we do our work with passion and talk a lot with customers , including well-known Italian manufacturers of extruders who are turning to us to improve the performance of their machines , which are driven to ever higher production levels .”
STANDING OUT IN THE MARKET There are many screen changer models available on the European market but this does not worry Mirco Pegoraro , who is sure that Break Machinery products have the right features to stand out on the market : “ For example , compared to some large German competitors , in addition to guaranteeing much less residue , another advantage of Duo are the operating costs : Duo uses two screens , let ’ s say standardtype . They consist of two laser-perforated foils that can be positioned easily and that are also six to seven times less expensive than other solutions currently available on the market . Break Machinery , in fact , does not aim to make profits from the maintenance of the machine and the related consumables : we want to sell it at an adequate price and meet the customer ’ s needs without exploiting the expenses
associated to maintenance . Duo is available in a single size but is very flexible , so as to cover all the four sizes of the One model with a single machine thanks to the dual screen , instead of a single screen , which allows a very large operating surface .” Support and maintenance services are also provided regularly : “ We have tested the machine for two years and all the software can be managed remotely . Customers , however , call us only in case of unclear parameter settings or if they do something wrong in this sense or maybe because they need a specific calibration . After all , it is a simple machine , easy to use like all the other machines delivered by our Group . The mechanical components are simple , totally reliable , and when technical support is required , generally after several years , it only involves electric motors . Our track record spans over two years , i . e . the time spent on our in-house production and regeneration test lines without detecting any kind of problem . And our customers , from the first day until today , have not called for us except for placing new orders .”

IN ITALY AND ABROAD The market situation is decidedly good , concludes Pegoraro , with strong sales on two fronts : “ The Italian and international markets currently account for 50 % each : the international market is in fact very large and offers many diversified opportunities from Asia to the United States , but Italy is a great market for regeneration projects . A trend we are seeing at the moment is that many foreign customers who buy the One screen changer now want to replace it with a Duo model , because in any case the production performance of the new method is superior to the conventional valve . So a generational change is already underway although One is absolutely not an obsolete product and works very well if you do not have specific needs . However , if you really want to boost recycling , it is appropriate to undertake this change of pace .”
