EVOLUTION OF THE RANGE Against this background , Fainplast has developed a thermoplastic PVC grade destined for cables to be used for energy , telecommunications , robotics , automotive and fibre optic applications , in addition to special XLPOs , a new range of cross-linkable compounds , produced with the Sioplas method or the E-Beam technology , delivering specific oil resistance properties and able to withstand extreme weather conditions and high operating temperatures . Also noteworthy is the PP Propylplus polypropylene-based compounds , specially formulated for the production of cables requiring high stability to thermal degradation and excellent electrical and mechanical properties at high temperature , as well as the polyethylene-based Ethylplus PEs , used for the production of solid or foam insulation systems for data , telecommunication and coaxial cables and other signal cables and for the production of sheathing for wires for outdoor or underground installation .
