European chemical recycling projects by technology and country offering the possibility of obtaining high-purity monomers. Pyrolysis, on the other hand, is the technology advancing most rapidly toward industrialisation: it is now considered ready and capable of transforming polyolefins from packaging and mixed plastic waste into an oil that can be further processed as feedstock in the petrochemical industry.
